Personally, I have never had a bad experience with Mediterranean food. My family and I crave it all the time. When my parents came to visit, I made a reservation at Opa in Walnut Creek. The menu looked amazing online and it had great reviews. The inside was super cute and the servers were really friendly. I also love that they had more than just gyros and salad. They had pizzas and lots of starters. My mom really wanted to get these zucchini cakes to start and they were super good. They're kind of like Indian pakore. And we usually like to get a variety of different dishes so we can try each other's. My mom and I were so tempted with the veggie pizza we ended up both getting it and it was so delicious it was really heavy so i had to take some of it home but it was so well seasoned and fresh i also tried halloumi cheese for the first time and it was interesting i can't say i loved it and my dad got some lamb and rice
